Everybody has the tendency to be bad.

Yesterday, I was talking to Ali (my husband) and I mentioned that if he were in the North during the last General Elections ( Ali grew up in Kaduna, and does have close relations with the ruling party)  we would have gotten a few million dollars from the #Dasukigate. He looked up and smiled, "you are so right!" We would have collected money that we would be so distressed about, but could anyone have turned down money from the Presidency? (All na questions?)


Jim Rohm stated that we all need to have principled principles, We grew up in a Country that we perceive that only influence from "Oga at the top" can open doors. Government jobs are only given to the children of Civil servants (inheritance), contracts are given to Oga himself, sharp deals are seen as smart, but thank heavens, though things are changing, our moral compass was need to be overhauled.

I once read,and applied a technique from Wattle D Wallace, which says that " Do not drive a sharp bargain, but ensure you give the person you are serving ( either your own business or at work)  the best you can be, by evolution you grow beyond your present responsibility to a higher level.

A favorite quote of mine is Romans 12: 2

"Do not be confirmed to this World, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind"
 A country filled with so much corruption, I grew up surrounded with corruption, and everyone got away with it, the culprits were celebrated, however this does not make it right for me to join in.

Live your dream Being Successful is relative; relative is a word that strikes my mind because we define what success is. When things are finally looking up, you have nagging thoughts “will this success stay forever? I hope I will not fail again, I hope this is finally it!” happens to me . Becoming Successful is never dependent of your location, the kind of job or profession, neither is it about the way you look, or the kind of family you come from.
